University Email Problems – Advice from Library Issue Desk

Due to the current problems related to the University email system, Library users may be unsure of the status of their borrowed items.

All users can access and manage their borrower accounts online via the Your Use of the Library services:

  • check dates when books are due for return
  • renew books (if no other reservations have been made)
  • check on the availability status of your reserved items

You can use your BUCS username and password to login, alternatively, you can use your Library User Identification number (printed on your library card starting with 11…) and the 4 digit PIN you’d normally use with the Self-Issue Machines.

If you normally rely upon automated email notifications for library notices please take some time to check your borrower account today to avoid fines, renew items on time and read updates on the availability of items you have reserved previously.
