The Library staff have been busy implementing our enhanced catalogue which replaces our existing catalogue and ELIN, our electronic collections navigator (which will no longer be available after December). If you previously used ELIN: please note that this is no longer available (as of the end of 2012).
In addition to its printed material, the Library has a multitude of electronic journals, electronic books and databases. Our new catalogue enables users to retrieve these resources more efficiently, from one search box, alongside material from our research repository, Opus. This improved functionality will enable:
- different editions and formats of the same book title to be grouped together
- journal articles to be more accessible
- better results when searching for a known title
If you would like to comment on the new catalogue, please email us. To view the catalogue, use the search box on the Library Homepage. To assist you in using the new catalogue, you might like to refer to the user guide and a short presentation.
Borrower Account management functions such as review and renewal of loans, PIN reminder and PIN change functions are linked from the Library Homepage under the Things to Do heading as normal.
