The Web of Knowledge has opened up additional content to UK HE for a trial period until 25th August.

Within Web of Science you can now access the following:
* Book Citation Index: Science and Social Science & Humanities from 2005-present
* Current Chemical Reactions (CCR)
* Index Chemicus (IC)

Using the ‘Additional Resources’ tab you can access:

Chinese Science Citation Database: 1989-present.
Provides bibliographic information and citations to articles in 1200 core science and engineering journals published in the People’s Republic of China.

Current Contents Connect®
Complete tables of contents and bibliographic information from the world’s leading scholarly journals and books; access pre-published electronic journal articles.

Data Citation Index(SM): 1900-present.
Discover research data, including data studies, data sets from a wide range of international data repositories and connect them with the scientific literature to track data citation

Derwent Innovations Index(SM): 1963-present.
Patent information from Derwent World Patent Index® as well as patent citation information from Patents Citation Index®.

Zoological Records®: 1978-present.
The world’s leading taxonomic reference and oldest continuing database of animal biology.
– Determine the first appearance of an animal name or new species
– Track taxonomic and nomenclatural changes
