Sage Research Methods: new database

The library has made available the database, Sage Research Methods (the subscription will be reviewed towards the end of 2014).  This is a collection of 720 ebooks, 344 online journal articles and various videos on the subject of research methodologies.  Coverage and functionality includes:

  • How to design a research project using quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods
  • Statistical/other analysis of data
  • Definitions of concepts & philosophies
  • How to undertake a literature review
  • Methods Map: this represents the different relationships between methodologies – you can browse or search this to discover fresh content
  • Method Lists: you can create lists in order to “share content with colleagues and research partners”

To access Sage Research Methods: you can connect via the Library Catalogue and various links will be added within the Library’s Resources for your Subject webpages.  Here’s a direct link: http://libproxy.bath.ac.uk/login?url=http://srmo.sagepub.com/
