Printing in the Library: solutions & extended helpdesk hours

In response to recent problems with printing on-campus, the following arrangements are currently in place:

  • If the system fails again and you have work to hand in urgently: please save your work to a USB stick and bring it to a member of Copy and Print staff at the back of Level 2 in the Library.  That staff member will then be able provide a printed copy using an office printer.  You will not be charged for this. ‘Copy and Print’ staff have several USB sticks to hand out if needed.
  • Extended helpdesk hours: the Library has also extended the opening hours of the Copy and Print service as follows (this arrangement will be in place until student hand-in demand has ended):
    Monday to Friday
    : 9 am to 7pm
    Sundays: 1pm to 4pm
