Audio-visual resources for Architects and Civil Engineers

You can access a wide variety of audio-visual resources providing you with a wealth of material including films, videos, images, podcasts, illustrated talks, interviews, filmed lectures and radio recordings through the library catalogue.

OnArchitecture has over 150 videos featuring interviews with leading archOn Architects, editors and curators from around the world like Pier Vittorio Aureli, Olafur Eliasson and Moritz King. There are features on buildings and installations such as the Barcelona Botanical Gardens by architect Carlos Ferrater and the Dao Paulo Art Museum by architect Lina Bo Bardi. The collection is regularly updated and indexed allowing you to search by author, building name, site location and topic through the directory.

Pidgeon Digital provides you with the opportunity to listen to leading architects thoughts in this audiovisual collection of 200 interviews from the 1950pidgeon digitals to the modern day. Watch newly added interviews with architects such as Michael Arad who won a competition to design the World Trade Centre Memorial and Peter Bohlin who designed the Apple retail stores. Step back in time to listen to a 1955 interview with Frank Lloyd Wright who discusses his life, buildings and architecture convictions.

Architectural Association’s public lectures online has a series of filmed lectures on Architectural associationcontemporary architectural culture dating from the 1970s to the present day and includes leading architects, artists, historians and theorists.
