The University of Bath’s Library has achieved joint first place in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2014 under the category ‘good library and library opening hours’. It’s no secret that we were the first to feature 24/7 opening hours and we are very pleased that our efforts to continually improve our services and facilities are being recognised by our students.
The overall survey results place the University of Bath as 2nd in the country, a rise from 6th place last year.
Over 14,000 full-time undergraduates from 111 UK institutions responded to the survey which covered 21 key attributes.
The top three institutions for ‘good library and library opening hours’ in the survey were:
1) Univeristy of Bath / Falmouth University
2) University of Oxford / University of Sheffield / University of East Anglia
3) University of Cambridge / University of Dundee / Keele University / Northumbria University / Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine
