Springer protocols collection upgraded to include content from 2013

The library has upgraded the Springer Protocols collection to include content from 2013 onwards. This means that you can now access the complete Springer protocols collection from 1980 onwards.

Please note: access will soon be available via the Library catalogue and web pages.

We will be reviewing the subscription in a year’s time, and would appreciate your views. Please pass any feedback to your subject librarian.

Further information about Springer protocols
Protocols provide individual sets of instructions to allow scientists to recreate experiments in their own laboratories. Each protocol is a chapter of a book, and each book is a collection of protocols on a given research topic. Many protocols in the Springer collection come from the classic book series Methods in Molecular Biology, but the collection also includes the following book series, in addition to Springer Protocols Handbooks and individual book titles:

-Methods in Molecular Biology
-Methods in Biotechnology
-Methods in Molecular Medicine
-Methods in Pharmacology and Toxicology
-Neuromethods
