The UN iLibrary – trial access

We are pleased to announce that the Library is running a trial of the United Nations iLibrary, the first comprehensive global search, discovery, and viewing source for digital content created by the United Nations.

This extensive and growing electronic library contains more than 3,000 publications from the United Nations under the following broad areas:-

  • Agriculture, rural development and forestry
  • Children and youth
  • Democracy and governance
  • Disarmament
  • Drugs, crime and terrorism
  • Economic and social development
  • Environment and climate change
  • Human rights and refugees
  • Human settlements and urban issues
  • International law and justice
  • Migration
  • Natural resources, water and energy
  • Peacekeeping and security
  • Population and demography
  • Public health
  • United nations
  • Women and gender issues

You can access the UN iLibrary at  and also download a brochure with more details about its features and contents.    Please be aware that the trial, which will run until 30th June 2016, is only available on campus.
