Making the undergrad to postgrad move? New online support programme is here to help…

Are you graduating this summer and thinking about postgraduate study?  Would you like to find out more about the options available, and get help in developing the skills necessary to succeed at postgrad level?

The Skills Centre, Careers Service and the Library have joined together to offer a special programme of online support for students applying for 2020 postgraduate taught courses, available this August and September.

The Bath UG to PGT study programme includes:

  • Information on all aspects of postgraduate academic study options
  • Three online skills development modules explaining the difference between UG and PGT study and helping you to develop the skills you need: getting started, critical reading and writing, communication
  • Advanced Literature Searching Skills from the Library: learn how to search more effectively, plan an expert search in a library database, and manage your search

UGPG LibGuide

  • A pre-arrival course from Careers on employability
  • Virtual coffee mornings hosted by the Library, Students’ Union and Careers Service: find out about support available for postgraduate students and ask any questions you have about PG student life.

The course is available to all PGT applicants, whether you undertook your undergraduate study at Bath or elsewhere.
